I have a confession. I eat peanut butter straight from the jar. Not just a teaspoon here and there, but tablespoons full. It’s my vice. A habit I should really break. An aisle I should refrain from walking down in the supermarket. As when it comes to the peanuty mixture there is no such thing as moderation. This week I successfully combined it with other ingredients, mixing it into a dessert. With only a spoonful or two being consumed while doing so.
Here is a dessert for the sweet tooths out there. Peanut butter cheesecake jars with salted caramel sauce. I sense teeth aching just typing those words. But if you love peanut butter as much as I do, and also love cheesecake and smooth salted caramel, then this is the dessert for you. Share one if you must, or enjoy it over a couple sittings. Either way, it’s another take on eating peanut butter straight out of the jar, in a more delectable and sophisticated manner.

What is single (pouring) cream ? Heavy Whipping cream or non-dairy coffee creamer ?
Chriss, i’m guessing it’s what Americans call light cream. (“Single” cream is self-explanatory to us Brits :-) )
