Weekend with the Pennys

We recently took a trip down to Kawartha, Ontario with good friends who kindly let us stay with them in their cottage. It’s the first time I’ve stayed in a cottage set on a lake. We had the real Canadian experience – cottage surrounded by lush trees, boating and water activities, and pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and served with bacon for breakfast.
