New York City
I’m alive! I’ve just been very quiet and working hard to put the Sourced Cities San Francisco guide together. It will be soon be available to buy online (phew!). I’ve also been keeping busy with the book which is coming along nicely.
On the way to San Francisco I stopped in New York for a few nights. I don’t know that I will ever tire from visiting New York. It’s an incredible city and you always seem to find something you haven’t seen before. This time I finally made my way over to the Mast Brothers Chocolate Factory in Brooklyn. Wow what a place! As soon as you walk in you can smell chocolate in the air.
I’ve put together a few photos of my brief time there. More Mast Brothers pictures can be seen over at Sourced Cities.

I hope you enjoyed them. I’ll be making more of an effort to keep this space updated so sorry for the delay in posts!
Tomorrow I’ll be posting a competition to win a $50 voucher towards a very stylish clothing site so stay tuned :)

Re: The photo of the sculls. Was this in a store or museum? Are these sculls for sale? Do you remember the name of said location? Thank you kindly.
A store! It’s called The Evolution Store and it’s very cool. If you’re looking for something obscure then that’s the place to find it!

Beautiful!
Thanks Ton :)
I love your photos! They’re so inspiring to look at.
I was just wondering, I notice that your photos have this absolutely beautiful earthy/ grey tone to them. Do they turn out that way because of your exposure and lighting? Or is it something else? I’ve always tried to get that mood/tone but I could never figure it out. Do I make any sense? (the cookies for example.)
Anyway, thanks for sharing your photos!
Great photos! I look forward to visiting Mast Brothers someday. Love New York!
As always, beautiful pictures !
Magnifiques photos Chantelle! Bravo!
Thank you for all the nice comments :)
Hello,
I saw a post about your work at Gourmande in the Kitchen and I had to check out your blog. These pictures are just amazing. Beautiful!
Thank you Danijela :) I’m glad you like them.
I never tire of seeing photos of New York City because it’s inevitable that they are always new and fresh to me. The city is so large and has so much to offer : )
I like all of your pictures but my favorite is ‘chair’ photo. Really nice and artistic!
