A few favourites

I was asked by new magazine Show Pony to submit a few of my favourite cafes in Montréal. Their first issue launched today and it’s filled with interesting stories about those individuals who are business-savvy, driven and love what they do. I was lucky enough to be included so thank you Show Pony. Here are five places I love that feature in the magazine.

Above is The Sparrow. It’s a great place to go for coffee or big weekend brunch.

Café Névé - their coffee, porridge with grilled fruit, muffins and big chunky cookies are the best!

Café Sardine - a tiny place with good coffee and really yummy beignets.

Byblos le petit café – delicious Persian food. A must try is their their feta omelette with sweet bread and jam.

And finally Café Santropol – perfect for a big tasty sandwich on their homemade bread.

Thanks Show Pony for letting me be involved with the first issue. I’m looking forward to reading future issues.

{ thanks valérie, mélissa and reid for eating with me }

    Wonderful suggestions, as usual! ;) Have you tried Lawrence Restaurant on St-Laurent? Amazing place! One of my top Montreal restaurants and their week-end brunches are truly the best in the city. While you’re in the area, stop by Boulangerie Guillaume on Fairmount. For the best coffee, try Lapin Pressé on Laurier Est. Thanks for your wonderful blog! I really enjoy reading you.
