Breakfast at la cabane à sucre

Up here in North America it’s the start of maple season. Families gather and head out of town to les cabanes à sucre or to us English speaking folk ‘the sugar shacks’. It’s where you can learn about the process of creating maple syrup, where children can ride on trackers and where the family gathers at a long bench for an oversized warm breakfast where the maple syrup runs freely. So here is a little post inspired by the maple season and sure to keep your bellies full all day long. Enjoy!

  1. These are delightful and gorgeous photos Chantelle. Bookmarking the apple cake recipe to bake this weekend with the apples we picked from the orchard earlier this week! Happy weekend :-)

Beautiful picts Chantelle! Makes the end of winter feel so warm. I’d love a pancake with maple syrup right about now.
