Friday morning tea

It has been a bit of a busy week this week, hence the lack of posts. This morning I had time though to go along to an Aussie expat wives morning tea held in the nice neighbourhood of Westmount. I couldn’t help myself and baked one of my all time favourite recipes – date & walnut loaf. It is so easy to make and seems to always win over a crowd. And you can easily vary the recipe. I didn’t have coconut on hand but I’ve added that before and it is also nice. Served warm with a bit of butter it makes a perfect morning or afternoon tea treat.
